Clinical Vision is a Clinical Information System supporting the latest Windows technology.
Because of Clinical Vision’s design architecture it can be used for almost any medical speciality, based on the same core software, and is scalable up to Trust wide implementation running at multiple sites.
The scalability

CCL's initial product - a 'point-of-care' computer system for nephrology (kidney medicine). Records stored on the computer can be reviewed and updated by clinical staff in clinics, treatment areas, and staff meetings. Data is also acquired automatically from lab computers and dialysis machines. Statistical and other analyses are available. The system is used by seventy percent of UK nephrology centres, and by centres in Europe, Australasia, Canada and the USA, including major US healthcare corporations. The latter also use the clinical data to underpin treatment billings.
Proton has evolved into an extrmely flexible software solution, able to manage diverse client requirements.
Proton's flexibility allows it to be used for other specialities also; for example transplantation, diabetology, obstetrics, gastroenterology, intensive care, and respiratory medicine, with economies of scale in
development and support. Proton is presently used by 19 different specialities.
